Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has actively campaigned in Ekwusigo and Nnewi South Local Government Areas, urging residents to prepare for the upcoming gubernatorial election on November 8 and to ensure their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) are ready to exercise their democratic rights.
Speaking at a rally at the Ekwusigo local government headquarters in Ozubulu, Governor Soludo emphasized the importance of active participation in the electoral process, stating, “Voting with your PVCs is essential for shaping the future of our state.”
The Governor assured citizens that his administration will continue to prioritize key developmental areas over the next four years, including security, infrastructure, healthcare, and human capital development. Community leaders, including Sir Jude Mbaegbu and Chief Ebuka Onunkwo, pledged to mobilize voters in support of his re-election. Residents demonstrated their confidence by donating N151 million to the Governor’s campaign efforts.
In Nnewi South, Governor Soludo addressed a rally in Amichi organized by twenty wards, describing the election as “sacrosanct” and celebrating the strong turnout, a sign of improved security and stability compared to previous elections.
Community leaders, including Chief Chidi Anyaegbu, Senator Emmanuel Nwachukwu, and Engr. Igweke Uche, reaffirmed their support for the Governor and highlighted APGA’s prominence in the region. Residents contributed an additional N85 million to the campaign, signaling strong local commitment to Soludo’s leadership and vision for Anambra State.
