Wema Bank, through its Transforming Nigeria Youth Program, has introduced the SARA Grant, a women-focused initiative designed to equip young Nigerian female entrepreneurs with funding, mentorship, and long-term business support.
The program provides grants of up to ₦2.5 million for participants who complete the required training, offering them financial resources to scale their businesses, create jobs, and contribute to Nigeria’s entrepreneurial growth.
Beyond funding, the initiative focuses on capacity building through hands-on workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and access to a strong professional network. Beneficiaries will also gain lifetime membership in the prestigious SARA community, ensuring continuous guidance and collaboration.
Applicants are required to be female entrepreneurs or aspiring business owners and must consent to opening a Wema Bank account, which will serve as the official channel for disbursement and other benefits.
According to Wema Bank, the program is “not just about funding—it’s about building capacity and confidence, ensuring women have the skills and opportunities to thrive in today’s competitive business environment.”
The call is now open to determined young women eager to join Nigeria’s next wave of successful female entrepreneurs
